Been to long away
gonna try to stay
Maui life consumes me each and every day
With oceans, trade winds, and mountains so high
I cannot get enough of my life on this isle.
Finally at work, which is a blessing to me
Keeping positive through all the new learning
Meeting and greeting each one with an ALOHA
My thoughts of my child who is a grown man sometimes get me emotionally attached
Knowing I have done my best that HE is in the right moment of his life.
USMC as tough as it is, still, he is my son that i carry his love in my heart.
Living apart is the hardest, but hey, getting a taste of the mainland life and abroad
Is what he is there to do.
Let him do it and I will always be mom to him
Let it go, let it flow
Always keeping prayers and thoughts in the positive
and deep in my heart.
